Page Type Modules

Page module are various sections that are used to build pages for your site. In reality, even the calendars and image gallery modules are page type, but since there are a number of them available we have them grouped together.

Aggregator
The Aggregator module automatically generates a list of pages that are "child" to the page it is placed on. It can be set to include summaries, the overall layout can be modified, it can include hidden pages, and if there is an image on the page it can include a thumbnail of that page.

Bookmarks Module
The Bookmarks module lets you list a set of links, or bookmarks. You can create categories and assign links to the categories. The look of the list can be customized by editing the HTML and CSS. For example, this page has been modified to show the url after the link.

Downloads Module
This zip contains three files. A replacement for the current view.php, rss.php and rss_button.png. Upload in to the current download gallery folder on your side and it places an RSS feed button at the bottom of the page. The RSS Feed lists files in descending order of the last modified date.

FAQ Baker Module
2. ^ TOP

Go-Cart Module
Add a basic shopping page to your site using PayPal "Buy Now" buttons. You add your items, set prices, descriptions and can include images. You must have a PayPal account to use this module. You set your PayPal address in the language.php file.

Google Map
This module allows you to place a "Google Map" on your site. You specify the starting lat and long, zoom level, what type of map and more. Markers can be added to the map as well to show locations of places.

Guestbook
No entry yet.

Manual
With the Manual module you can build a reference manual with main chapers and sub-chapters

Shout It
Shout It is a "shoutbox". Shoutboxes are similar to a Guest Book, but they are meant for quick entry of limited info. Often sites use them as a sort of mini chat-room feature. Once entered, the "shouts" can not be edited.

Site Map Module
This shows the children of the current page with a Page level limit of 1, 0 (for all) or 2 had been entered, the children pages of any of these pages would also been shown.
